RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Program CMM and other inspection equipment to measure/layout complex components to engineering specifications and standards.
• Interpret and understand complex technical documentation such as blueprints and specifications.
• Maintain inspection documentation (written, electronic and photographic).
• Successfully complete measurements and tasks on time to aggressive schedules
• Exceptional communication with internal and external customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three (3) years of meterological experience preferred
• Computer knowledge including CAD
• Minimum Two (2) years DMIS programming experience plus other CMM programs
• Experience with Faro Arm or Laser Scanning (portable arm)
• Surface plate layout experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects with dynamic priorities
• Exceptional Communication skills, including technical data, to internal and external customers
• Ability to work independently while exhibiting team work skills with others
• Flexibility on job assignments 

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to interpret blue prints with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)
• Ability to train others (CMM Software, GD&T, Blueprints, etc.)
• Technical Associates degree 

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot Coordinate Measuring Machine and similar equipment
• Problem solve and repair with minimal support
• Handle all problems and job discrepancies, or direct them to the office A.S.A.P.
• Pay particular attention to job requirements – ex. quoted vs. actual work required
• Exceptional communication skills with internal and external customers

 
Requirements for both Positions:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of basic hand tools for measurement
• PC knowledge – Windows capable
• Valid Driver’s License
• Availability to travel up to 80%

Additional Requirements for Experienced Position:

• Ability to complete a manual CMM calibration
• Ability to use an Oscilloscope and DVM
• Two years’ experience or working toward (2) two year technical degree
